Friends and family of Bar Novanta.

It is with a heavy heart that we must announce that Bar Novanta has now closed its doors.

And while our heart is heavy from sharing this news, it is also full.
We thank you all for your tears and hugs and warmth; for your support, kindness, generosity, and love above all. Over the past two years we've been so lucky to have our little family expand every night — with every new customer who soon became a friend, and very quickly became part of the furniture.

It fills us with sadness to see tables full every night, to have your wonderful faces come and light up the kitchen with joy after a meal to remember, to have so many tables booked weeks in advance and yet to have to close our doors due to a pandemic that has affected so many across the globe.

We fought hard, we gave it our all, and we've appreciated your continued support throughout, but unfortunately, having our doors closed for so long, in the end, we couldn’t keep up.

Rest assured this is just a speedbump. Bar Novanta will return. Perhaps in a different location, perhaps under a slightly different name (Cafe Novanta has a nice ring to it), but we’ll be back.

In the meantime, the main thing is we thank each and every one of you kind souls who joined us on this little journey.

We couldn't have done any of it without you.
